Farflung Game

Farflung Unlimited

Farflung Unlimited is the endless version of the Farflung geography game: five fresh map prompts every round, one pin per prompt, and up to 100 km for the rarest correct answer. Play as many expeditions as you like — no daily limit, no account and no cost.

Why play it

What Farflung Unlimited adds to the daily game

Farflung Unlimited removes the one-game-a-day limit. The daily expedition is great for comparing scores, but once you have played it you have to wait until midnight. In Unlimited, the moment an expedition ends you can start another, each with five prompts from different families: neighbours, seas and rivers, flags, alliances, capitals, currencies and more.

Because unlimited games do not touch your streak, they are the place to take risks. Try the obscure answer you are only half sure of. If it fits, you have found a Farflung-tier pick; if not, the reveal shows exactly which countries would have worked.

Questions

Farflung Unlimited FAQ

Is there a Farflung unlimited mode?

+

Yes, on this site. Farflung Unlimited deals a new set of five prompts whenever you finish a game, with the same map and rarity scoring as the daily expedition. The official game at farflung.game has said it is focusing on its daily prompts and does not offer unlimited play.

Does Farflung Unlimited affect my daily streak?

+

No. Only the daily expedition counts towards your streak, your best score and the leaderboard. Unlimited games are for practice, so you can experiment with risky answers without losing anything.

Will I see the same prompts again in Farflung Unlimited?

+

Not for a long while. Unlimited remembers which of the 246 prompts you have played on this device and deals unseen ones first, five from different families each game. Only when you have seen nearly the whole bank does it start again.

Can I leave an unlimited game and come back?

+

Yes. An unfinished unlimited expedition is saved in your browser and resumes where you left off when you return to this page on the same device.
